Valentine's Day

     Today was February 14th, Valentine's Day, and so today we did in class what many children back home would be doing, we made Valentine's Day crafts. In this instance, we made Valentine's Day cards. What a lot of fun this was! The children were amazing, their artistic abilities are incredible, and the thought and effort they put into their creations was inspiring. It was a wonderful bonding activity which allowed us to share in a tradition from a culture not their own, in a way that they enjoyed and found familiar, I think, through the process of drawing and colouring together, and yet different.
